Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; couples may transition into a placed houseparent role living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Age 27 or older for both spouses.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
