Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents who are married couples to live on campus and care for 8–13 students in a home setting. You will provide supervision, guidance, and a structured, family-like environment fostering academic and emotional development.

You will work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transitions to a placed houseparent role over time.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to work as part of a two-person team.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Oversee household routines, schedules, and transportation.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Facilitate activities, devotions, and chapel attendance.
• Manage budgeting and household reporting, with teamwork.
