Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initial duties include nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a pathway to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person couple role required, married at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational events
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
