Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and guiding 8–13 students. You will supervise daily routines, manage schedules, and support students' academic, emotional, and social development.

You’ll also coordinate meals, transportation, and devotional activities while maintaining a safe, nurturing home environment. The role is a two-person, full-time position with nine days on duty followed by three off,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person couple role, married for at least two years
• Both spouses age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children in home
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student vans
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting
