Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to promote academic, emotional, and social development.

Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group.

Qualifications

• Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
