Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents to live on campus and care for groups of 8–13 students in student homes. The role combines supervision, mentorship, and household management in a structured, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates are married couples (two years), aged 27+, with experience with youth and a commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free campus. Training and relocation assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
