Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions. The role advances to a placed houseparent over time; both spouses must apply individually.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
