Job summary

Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, provide supervision and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, and help foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, medications, and organizing activities. The role offers a fixed schedule and progression to a placed homepartner position, with relocation assistance and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism as role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
