Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8-13 students.

This role creates a structured, family-like environment conducive to academic, emotional, and social growth. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse couple, legally married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Willingness to live on campus in student homes.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Support multiple student homes initially and transition to a placed role.
• Work nine days on, three days off schedule.
• Live with the same group of students in a home.
