Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple. You will reside in on-campus student homes, provide care and mentorship to 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on, then three off, transitioning later to a fixed student-home assignment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years married, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
