Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live on campus and care for a group of 8-13 students in a family-like home environment. The role involves supervision, mentorship, routine management, wellness support, and planning activities while ensuring safe transport to events.

Couples are housed on campus, follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, and may transition to a placed houseparent role with continued supervision and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
