Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents (a married couple) to provide care, guidance, supervision and support for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Couples live in the student homes and follow a nine-on/three-off schedule, transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time.

Responsibilities include supervision, routine management, wellness checks, transportation to activities, devotions, Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.
