Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents — married couples who will reside in on-campus student homes and support a group of 8–13 students. You will provide supervision, mentorship, and a family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initial duties include nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to the placed houseparent role living with the same group. Comprehensive benefits and housing are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.

Skills
