Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, invites applications for Full-time Flex Houseparents—married couples who will reside in on-campus student homes to care for groups of 8–13 students. The role blends supervision, mentoring, and structured routines to support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.

Couples work nine consecutive days on, then three days off, with a progression toward a Placed Houseparent role in the same student home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
