A Place at Home – Philadelphia West seeks an experienced Live-In Caregiver & House Manager to support a client in Montgomery County, PA. You’ll provide personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal planning, transportation, and companionship in the client's home with autonomy and teamwork.

We value reliability, organization, and a warm, compassionate approach; a valid driver’s license is preferred and CNA/HHA certification is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional live-in or senior caregiving experience
• CNA or HHA certification is a plus (but hands-on experience valued)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Key Responsibilities

As a Live-In Caregiver and House Manager, you will oversee day-to-day care and maintain a peaceful home environment for our client:

• Personalized Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

• Health & Medication Management: Administer timely medication reminders and monitor general health and well-being.

• House Management: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe living space through light housekeeping, laundry management, and meal planning/preparation.

• Companionship & Engagement: Build a meaningful relationship through conversation, engaging activities, and emotional support.

• Clinical Collaboration: Maintain accurate daily care logs and communicate proactively with our 24/7 clinical management team and client family members.

Schedule Overview

• Active Hours: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

• Overnight Relief: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Dedicated relief caregiver provided overnight)

• Flexibility: Additional relief coverage and shift flexibility available to support candidate scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of professional live-in or senior caregiving experience (House Management or Private Duty experience strongly preferred).

• Skills: Strong organizational skills, self-direction, and a warm, compassionate demeanor.

• Reliability: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check/drug screening.

• Certifications: CNA or HHA certification is a plus (but proven hands-on experience is valued).
