Job summary

Right at Home Main Line in Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled Live-in Caregiver to join our in-home care team, providing round-the-clock support to clients in their homes. You will live on-site, assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and companionship, and uphold safety and dignity in a one-on-one setting.

Requirements include at least one year of live-in caregiving experience, a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, English proficiency, and a valid driver's

• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English

Responsibilities

• Assist with ambulation/transfers, eating, dressing
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments
• Perform housekeeping tasks and manage daily living needs

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Personal hygiene (assisting the client to the bathroom or using a commode, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)

• Ambulation/Transfers

• Eating

• Dressing

• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom

Qualifications and Skills:

• One Year of experience as a Live-in Caregiver

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required

• Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs independently

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English

• Must possess a valid Driver's License or State ID.

• Successful completion of a background check

• Current TB Test

• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification not required, but preferred
