Job summary

Live-In Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) needed in Danbury, CT for in-home, one-on-one care. No caregiving experience required; training and ongoing support provided. Opportunities for advancement, competitive wages, and consistent live-in shifts.

We prioritize compassionate, dependable individuals with reliable transportation and excellent communication skills. Must be willing to live in the client’s home during scheduled shifts and pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Assisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping/errands, and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Accompanying clients to appointments or errands when appropriate
• Monitoring changes in a client's condition and communicating with the care team
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure each client's specific needs are met, and report changes in health status.
