ComForCare Home Care – Danbury is seeking compassionate Live-In Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for our clients in Danbury, CT. No caregiving experience is required; training and ongoing support are provided to individuals with a passion for helping others.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Previous experience in home health care or related field preferred
• Reliable transportation for client visits
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Willingness to live in the client's home during scheduled shifts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Background check may be required as per CT regulations and federal law
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be reliable with punctuality and professionalism
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Assist with daily living activities including meal prep, shopping, and light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when appropriate
• Monitor changes in a client's condition and communicate with the care team
• Follow care plans to meet each client's needs and report health changes

Job Summary. What You'll Do:

As a Live-In Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
