Job summary

Senior Helpers of Dayton is seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-In Caregiver to provide essential around-the-clock care to clients. The position offers competitive pay up to $17/hour and provides a private room during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance preferred.
• Experience in live-in caregiving is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities including bathing and dressing.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and help with mobility.
• Stay overnight in the client’s home.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle and car insurance are preferred
• Ability to communicate via phone or text for scheduling
• Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy
• Live-in experience preferred, but not required – we’ll provide training

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
