Job summary

Senior Helpers of Dayton is seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client with dementia in Kettering, Ohio.

The schedule runs Sunday through Tuesday with 16 hours of paid caregiving and 8 hours of sleep time, covering Sunday and Monday. Pay is up to $17 per hour with weekend differentials.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and offering attentive, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable.
• Available to start as soon as possible.

Senior Helpers of Dayton is hiring a compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized, in-home care for a client with dementia in Kettering, Ohio.

Schedule

• Start: Sunday at 9:00 AM
• End: Tuesday at 9:00 AM
• 16 hours of paid caregiving, with 8 hours of sleep time provided
• Position covers Sunday and Monday

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and ambulation
• Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding
• Offer medication reminders
• Complete light housekeeping and homemaking tasks
• Provide compassionate, attentive care to a client with dementia

Client Care Level: The client is ambulatory but requires total care and assistance with daily activities.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

• Pay up to $17 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekend shift differential:
