Job summary

Senior Helpers of Dayton is seeking compassionate caregivers to work weekends and provide quality care to our clients. Flexible hours and competitive pay offer a rewarding opportunity to support seniors in their homes.

We offer paid trainings, a recognition program, and a benefits package. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; experience is welcome but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Compassion, dependability and a caring nature are essential.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle (must have car insurance).
• Must be available to maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 20+ hours; weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed.

What We Offer:

• Earn more for premium hours: Weekday nights come with +$1/hr (6 pm to 6 am), weekend days +$1.50/hr (6 am to 6 pm), and weekend nights +$2/hr (6 pm to 6 am), a great way to boost your paycheck.
• Flexible Schedules: Work when it’s convenient for you.
• Competitive Pay: Between $15-$19 per hour, based on experience + Benefits Package Available.

Job Requirements:

• Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (must have car insurance).
• Ability to be reached by phone or messages to get shift details.
• Experience is preferred, but not required - we provide training.
• Compassion, dependability, and a caring nature are essential.
• Must be available to maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 20+ hours; part-time and full-time opportunities offered.
• Being at least 18 years old.
