Job summary

Senior Helpers of Dayton is seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide high-quality, around-the-clock care at a client’s home. You will stay overnight, assist with daily activities, and offer companionship in a trusted, locally‑owned agency.

We offer competitive pay up to $19/hour, private room during shifts, flexible scheduling, ongoing paid training, and an employee recognition program. Training is provided for those new to the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance are preferred.
• Ability to communicate via phone/text for scheduling.
• Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Live-In experience preferred, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders and help with mobility as needed.
• Stay overnight in the client’s home, ensuring safety and comfort.
