Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager for a high-volume summer camp operation. This on-site, live-in role covers daily culinary leadership, budgeting, and allergen safety at multiple facilities across the country.

You will oversee staff, ensure quality and safety, and liaise with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office. The position demands a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, competitive seasonal pay, and benefits including room and board.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Manage food allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Oversee inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
