Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety to deliver scratch-cooked meals across multiple camp programs.

The role requires 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role, ServSafe Manager certification (Allergens required before start), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced summer camp environment

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience
• ServSafe Manager Certification required (Allergens expertise before start date)

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution
• Strict allergen protocols and Health Department sanitation standards
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and budgeting; track daily reporting
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office
