Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Food Service Operations Director for an on-site, live-in role at rural summer camp facilities across the United States. The seasonal contract runs May–Sept with a 6-day, 70-hour workweek and includes room and board, travel allowance, and competitive pay plus a bonus.

You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Administer budgeting, inventory, and daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
