Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, manage staff, budgeting, and allergen safety for a high-volume, on-site program.

This on-site, live-in position requires a proactive leader comfortable with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and multi-site coordination across summer camps in the US. Competitive pay with bonuses and room & board are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train Front of House and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain Health Department standards.
• Handle inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
