Job summary

Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a Live Haul Manager to lead the catching operation and live bird transportation from farm to plant. This role directs both on-site crews and associated transport activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while meeting production targets.

You will partner with the Live Operations Manager to align with company goals, uphold animal welfare standards, and maintain accurate operational records for payroll and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Directly supervises at least 3 employees and indirectly supervises at least 15.
• Maintains safety as a core value and priority across the team.
• Conducts responsibilities in line with company vision, mission and core values.
• Manages catching operations and live haul transportation from farm to plant in a cost-efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise catching operation and transport of birds from farm to plant.
• Monitor safety, feed withdrawal times, catch times and responsibilities across involved parties.
• Ensure weather handling tasks (fans, wetting birds, cages) are properly performed.
• Maintain records of catch, loads and time for payroll and reporting to HR.
