You will hire and terminate employees, enforce safety and animal welfare standards, and coordinate with crew leaders and the plant. Night shifts and a fast-paced environment apply. DMV/DOT compliance and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of supervisory training or experience.
• Knowledge of poultry transportation and live haul operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with DOT rules for Class A drivers and DMV records.

Responsibilities

• Direct the pickup and transporting of chickens to the processing plant.
• Hire and terminate employees for the live haul team.
• Establish and enforce safety production and animal welfare standards.
• Coordinate with crew leaders and the processing plant to ensure smooth dispatch.
• Provide training for catch crew forepersons and communicate with the Live Haul Manager.
