Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations Manager to support day-to-day facility and event operations at Buddy Holly Hall in Lubbock, Texas. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage event logistics, and ensure operational readiness and guest experience.

The role reports to the General Manager, requires a Bachelor's in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field, and 4–6+ years in venue operations with 1–3+ years supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in venue, facility, or event operations.
• 1–3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale events, including conventions, concerts, and multi-day programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee venue operations including Engineering, Building & Grounds, Technical Services, Event Services, Public Safety, Security, Custodial, IT, and Parking.
• Coordinate operational activities with internal departments, clients, promoters, and third-party vendors for seamless event execution.
• Ensure facility readiness for all events and enforce operational standards.
• Manage department budget and collaborate with Finance on approvals.
• Support cross-functional communication to align event requirements and plans.
• Supervise staff and support team performance; ensure safety compliance and MSDS/logs.
