Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL is seeking an Event Runner for on-site duties at The Buddy Holly Hall in Lubbock, TX. This part-time, non-exempt role supports production by running errands, coordinating with the touring manager, and assisting with daily event logistics to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires flexibility to work early mornings through late nights, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities including transport, shopping, and supporting event personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle and must pass a driving background check.
• Must be able to pass a background check for cash handling.
• Must possess the ability to operate a 15-passenger van, an SUV, and/or a passenger vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work hours as dictated by events, very frequently from early morning until late at night with some shifts lasting longer than 12 hours.
• Must possess a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, work independently and as a team, and have reliable transportation.
• Having access to a vehicle that seats at least 5 people is a plus. Must possess the ability to speak, read, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional appearance and mannerism.
• Possesses knowledge of the area (i.e. street and business locations).
• Works with a show’s touring manager running errands, shopping for groceries picking up/dropping off talent at the airport/hotel, picking up food at local restaurants, dropping off/picking up laundry, setting up an office environment for show personnel.
• Maintains spending records and receipts for all purchased items.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
