Job summary

PRG is seeking a Team Leader with a strong background in design and production for live events. The role requires coordinating Designers, Engineers and Production staff to deliver on the designer’s intent, manage schedules and ensure quality control across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5 years designing solutions within discipline, a BS in Technical Theatre or Engineering (or equivalent), CAD fluent, and the ability to travel to field sites.

Qualifications

• Five years designing solutions within discipline.
• BS Technical Theatre or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• CAD fluent.
• Ability to travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Designers, Engineers, and Production staff to offer suggestions that deliver upon the designer’s intent.
• Bid, design, order, assemble and test products within assigned discipline.
• Interface with Project Management and Operations Management to establish and meet project deadlines.
• Provide ongoing support to existing base of designs.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned shop personnel.
• Design schematics capable of being fabricated in-house or outsourced.
• Travel into the field to startup and commission products as required.
• Assist in the research and implementation of new products within discipline.
