Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs/Hinckley is seeking a Social Media Strategist to manage our social channels, craft a strategy that aligns with brand tone, and produce content for live events, promotions, and entertainment. You will own content calendars, coordinate influencers, monitor analytics, and deliver monthly performance reports.

This role requires a Tue–Sat schedule with nights and weekends, and flexibility for holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or ability to pass basic skills assessment).
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of documented experience leading social media programs for a company using social media extensively.
• Two years of developing and implementing strategic social media plans.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and social media management tools (Sprout Social, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Canva Pro, Adobe).
• Ability to secure a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).

Responsibilities

• Manage Grand Casino social pages and profiles, including outside of traditional hours.
• Build and execute social media strategy through research, messaging, and audience identification.
• Write, develop, and schedule online content production.
• Publish and share content to drive daily engagement.
• Assist with crisis management and cross-department communications.
• Develop relationships to foster loyalty and meaningful dialogue.
• Moderate user-generated content per policies.
• Create a social media marketing plan and content calendar.
• Collaborate with departments to manage reputation and promotions.
• Track analytics and apply insights to future outcomes.
• Produce monthly analytics reports and competitive research.
• Respond to questions on social channels clearly and timely.
• Develop and share social media guidelines and best practices.
• Stay current with trends and best practices.
• Write, record, and edit videos for online use.
• Be a featured face in content and on-camera appearances.
• Update Grand Casino website as needed.
• Assist in producing digital assets and signage.
• Develop interactive email content for consumer database.
• Perform other duties related to the role.
