Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Social Media Strategist to oversee and grow our social channels. You will craft a strategy aligned with brand voice, produce and post engaging content, coordinate content calendars, and collaborate with teams for promotions and events.

The role requires a passion for live events, strong storytelling, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years leading social media programs for a company that uses social media extensively.
• 2+ years developing and implementing social strategies that meet or exceed objectives.
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).

Responsibilities

• Manage Grand Casino social pages and profiles, including monitoring outside traditional work hours.
• Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
• Write, develop, and schedule online content production.
• Create and publish content that drives engagement.
• Assist with crisis management and communications with relevant departments.
• Moderate user-generated content in line with policies.
• Develop and enforce social media guidelines and best practices.
• Stay current with social media trends and best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing/communication or related field
