Job summary

Legends Global is seeking part-time Stagehands for events at our Sioux Falls venue. The role covers setup/teardown, loading, and assisting in show productions inside and outside the facility, often in adverse weather and loud environments.

Candidates must be 18+, capable of lifting 50 lbs, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Video, sound and lighting knowledge is helpful; English reading/writing/speaking is required. This position may be seasonal and event-based.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including weekends, days, evenings, overnights, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Knowledge of video, sound, lighting, and technical theater experience helpful.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of event conversions including setup/teardown.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Assist in assembly/disassembly of show productions.
• Construct set pieces, risers, stages, equipment.
• Operate spotlight during shows for qualified personnel.
• Assist with video, sound, and light production.
• Move furniture and equipment; set up flooring, chairs, barricades, tables.
• Perform routine backstage maintenance.
