Job summary

BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn seeks an Operations Manager, Events & Revenue to lead the rentals program, oversee front-of-house operations, and drive revenue growth across BRIC House venues. Reporting to the Associate Director, Operations, you will supervise the Audience Services Coordinator and manage client relations for a strong audience experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4+ years in venue rentals or related ops.
• Experience managing sales pipeline, client relationships, and contracts toward revenue.
• Experience supervising front-of-house or hospitality staff for live events.
• Knowledge of event logistics, ADA accessibility, and cash/box office reconciliation.
• Strong communication and customer service; ability to manage multiple clients and events.

Responsibilities

• Manage full rentals sales cycle from inquiry to contract to post-event follow-up.
• Market rentals to corporate clients, production companies, nonprofits, event planners and community orgs to grow revenue.
• Track leads, conversions, and revenue against targets; report results.
• Recommend pricing strategies, promotional packages, and seasonal offerings to boost revenue and occupancy.
• Partner with Marketing on rental sales collateral, digital presence, and outreach campaigns.
• Maintain relationships with repeat clients and industry partners to support referrals.
