Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking friendly Event Staff to join our team for major events in Houston. You will greet guests, usher, and assist with entry procedures while delivering top-notch customer service in venues such as sports arenas and concert venues.

Starting pay is $17 per hour with weekly pay and flexible schedules (part-time or full-time). Paid training, security awareness, and opportunities for growth across a national organization are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Driver’s Record check may be required.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in event day preparation and execution.
• Welcomes and ushers guests, directs foot traffic, and ensures venue entry procedures as applicable.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency in designated areas.
• Provides guests with directions and information to enhance their experience.
• Engages with guests in a friendly, professional manner and communicates clearly.
