Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support concerts, sports, festivals and venues across the city. This position offers flexible part-time schedules, paid training, and weekly pay, with duties including welcoming guests, ushering, scanning tickets, and directing foot traffic.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma, can pass a background check and drug test, and are able to work evenings, weekends, and overtime while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; Driver’s Record check may be required.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests as they arrive and welcome them to the venue.
• Collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic entering and exiting the venue.
• Follow venue policies and ensure safety and orderly operation.
• Provide guests with directions and information to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and clear communication with guests.
