Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and life safety systems across a major venue complex in Columbus, OH. You will lead a diverse team, manage HVAC, lighting, building automation, and utilities, and ensure adherence to budgets and safety standards.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, supervise contractors, and coordinate with city services while maintaining documentation in the CMMS and ensuring high guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Two or four-year degrees in engineering or technical discipline, or a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in physical plant, or prior facility management position.
• Minimum five years’ experience in the operation of a large public assembly, hotel, or other commercial facility; 3–5 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Solid knowledge in building, equipment operations, maintenance, project management, budgeting, and personnel administration.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, supervises, trains, and manages employee performance across assigned departments.
• Manages major facility service contracts including HVAC, elevators/escalators, and landscaping.
• Develops and trains staff to maintain technical competency and ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed.
