Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for an Event Manager at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. You will oversee planning, coordination, and management of events, interacting with clients, staff, and service partners.

This on-site role requires the ability to coordinate with multiple departments, deliver superior customer service, and adapt to a fast-paced environment including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in public facility management or event operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Establishes contact with clients at event assignment.
• Acts as primary liaison between clients and facility departments.
• Coordinates event planning with service contractors.
• Keeps clients informed of deadlines, room setups, and timelines.
• Prepares cost estimates and assists with billing.
