Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead the Mesa Convention Center dining and events. You will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and drive planning, staffing, financial performance, and operational success for conventions, trade shows, festivals, and concerts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage or event operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of prior supervisory or management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of retail POS systems and event management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Food & Beverage in planning, organization, financial performance, and daily operation of the department.
• Maintain expertise in systems; participate in Work Order, BEO, and event planning meetings to meet staffing, equipment, inventory, service, and logistics needs.
• Manage event operations from setup through breakdown, ensuring seamless execution and clear communication with staff, clients, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, cash handling and SOPs.
• Analyze budgets, forecasts, labor and product costs, ticket sales, and P&L to guide decisions.
• Assist with development, review, and implementation of contracts, policies, and departmental standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and lead team members and contingent labor for operational excellence.
