Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference environment in Kahuku, Hawaii, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction during events.

You will meet clients on site, monitor events, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with invoicing and order entries. A High School Diploma is required; 1 year of hospitality or AV experience is preferred; a valid driver’s license may be required; lifting up to 50 lbs may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate's degree preferred.
• Required training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as scheduled.
• Exceed guest expectations and communicate effectively with clients on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete orders and invoicing; enter data accurately in systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for equipment.
