Job summary

Legends Global in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Usher/Ticket Taker for events at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts and Ritz Theatre and Museum. You will welcome guests, check tickets, guide seating, and assist with emergency procedures during all performances.

This is a part-time, hourly position requiring excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and reliability. Prior customer service experience is preferred; access to internet is needed to view the monthly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Require each person entering the facility to have a valid ticket or credentials.
• Examine patron’s ticket for accuracy of date, proper facility and show time.
• Maintain position on post, taking tickets at a pace to keep patrons steadily moving into the facility.
• Utilize scanning equipment to process patron tickets and count ticket stubs received as necessary.
• Direct patrons to their assigned seating area.
• Provide assistance with emergency procedures as necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.
