Job summary

M & M Production USA is seeking a highly technical, data-driven Technical Sales Manager to bridge engineering, CAD design and live event sales. You will translate client visions into safe technical designs, create show layouts, and train the sales team in technical offerings.

Role requires deep live event production knowledge, rigging safety, CAD proficiency, and data-driven selling experience. You will lead technical discovery, draft rigging plots, and manage CAD workflows with venues and

Qualifications

5+ years in live event production or related fields.
Experience in technical sales, estimating, or client-facing roles.
Proficiency with Vectorworks Spotlight, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
Experience with Flex Rental Solutions or similar rental software.
Familiarity with safety standards for rigging.
Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Translate complex rigging, AV, and software capabilities into value-driven presentations.
Draft rigging plots with point loads, bridle configurations, trim heights, and equipment placement.
Evaluate data and engineering calculations to identify safety conflicts before loading in.
Create 2D and 3D production layouts, scenic renderings, floor plans, and staging designs in CAD.
Oversee rigging review workflow with venues, in-house providers, and engineers to ensure code compliance.
Analyze client RFPs to define technical scopes, quotes, and labor estimates.
Deliver technical training to the sales team on evolving event technologies and safety baselines.
Oversee Flex Rental Software ecosystem for sales, pricing tiers, and inventory structures.
Provide data-driven purchasing recommendations for production software and hardware.
