Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Production Technician II to support special events on Viejas property, at offsite venues, and on the Reservation. Operates production equipment including lighting, sound, media production equipment, laser projection systems, pyrotechnic controls, stage design and trimming.

Transports, installs, and connects entertainment electrical distribution systems to power and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Transports, installs, and connects entertainment electrical distribution systems to power and operate production equipment.
Reviews work orders with Management to assess lighting requirements.
Provides lighting and creates effects to enhance shows.
Sets up and operates light fixtures, control devices, and rigging equipment.
Plans, tests and adjusts audio systems prior to events.
Ensures audio is captured by microphones and amplifiers.
Operates video recorders and projection equipment.
Performs video editing as needed.
Manages laser projection controls and safety compliance.
Interfaces with laser contractors for graphic systems maintenance.
Performs laser calibration and adjustments.
Maintains and cleans cooling and optical equipment per preventive schedules.
Loads and operates fireworks equipment safely.
Reads scripts to determine concert or decoration needs.
Constructs and tears down stage designs.
Conducts preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
Stays current with entertainment production tech changes.
Supports Entertainment and Production Department tasks as assigned.
Ensures a clean, hazard-free work environment for crew and guests.
