Job summary

Jamul-Casino seeks an experienced Audio/Visual Technician to install, operate, and maintain AV systems for casino events. You will program digital/analog consoles, set up video walls and TVs, load in/out for performances, and coordinate with bands and staff.

The role requires hands-on cabling, RF knowledge, basic IT skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Proactive maintenance, safety compliance, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to two years AV experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on with mixing live bands on digital/analog consoles.
• Experience with In-Ear monitor systems for bands from FOH.
• Experience with conference systems (Zoom/Teams).
• Casino/entertainment experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking (A+).
• Proficient in cabling, installation and termination.
• Knowledge of RF systems.
• Show lighting control software (Qlab, Resolume, ETC/ION).
• Ability to learn new technologies and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to guests and team members.
• Program, implement, troubleshoot AV for the property including video walls and TVs.
• Set up AV equipment for events and work with bands to load and unload.
• Assist in inventory tracking of AV equipment.
• Ensure property displays are in good working condition.
• Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
• Perform duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Collaborate with other departments on property/corporate initiatives.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on AV equipment (TVs, projectors, etc.).
