Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine, CA seeks a Production Technician II to support events on Viejas property, at offsite venues, and on the Reservation. You will operate lighting, sound, media equipment, laser projection systems, and stage design to enhance productions.

You will transport, install, test and maintain electrical distribution, review work orders with Management, and ensure safe, high‑quality productions with video projection and fireworks as required.

Qualifications

• Operates production equipment including lighting, sound, media production equipment.
• Transports, installs, and connects electrical distribution systems for entertainment production.
• Plans, tests and adjusts audio systems prior to event start.
• Maintains and programs lighting and rigging equipment and safety systems.
• Interacts with laser contractors to manage graphic systems and laser controls.

Responsibilities

• Transports, installs and connects entertainment electrical distribution systems.
• Reviews work orders and consults with Management on lighting requirements.
• Sets up, tests, and adjusts audio systems prior to events.
• Operates video recorders and projection equipment such as PowerPoint.
• Performs video editing as needed and sets up laser projection controls.
• Maintains and repairs lighting, rigging, and electrical systems.
• Loads and operates equipment for fireworks with safety protocols.
• Ensures a clean, hazard-free work environment for crew and guests.
