Job summary

The Production Technician II at Viejas is responsible for supporting special events on Viejas property, offsite venues, and on the Reservation. You will operate lighting, sound, media equipment, laser projection systems, and related stage and rigging gear to deliver immersive productions.

Responsibilities include setting up audio and video systems, coordinating with management, and ensuring safety compliance for all technical elements and crews during live events.

Qualifications

• Experience providing lighting and sound for live events or productions.
• Ability to operate multiple production systems and coordinate with management.
• Understanding of safety standards for pyrotechnics and large-stage setups.

Responsibilities

• Transport, install, and connect electrical distribution and production equipment.
• Set up and test audio systems before events; adjust as needed.
• Operate lighting, video projection, and laser systems per script and cues.
• Maintain and repair stage lighting, rigging, and electrical gear.
• Read scripts to determine set and decoration requirements and coordinate with crew.
