Job summary

AMI is seeking an Event Production Specialist in Austin, TX for a 2-month engagement. You will support live event production, control-room operations, digital content creation, and end-user technical assistance.

Responsibilities include running production cues from the control room, managing audio/visual equipment for live and hybrid events, editing content, and coordinating with instructors and staff to ensure flawless event execution.

Qualifications

• Experience with live event production and run-of-show execution.
• Ability to troubleshoot audiovisual systems.
• Experience creating digital content and editing slides.
• Ability to work in a structured, time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to interpret audiovisual system drawings and rack elevations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive live production support for AMI events, programs, and meetings.
• Operate control-room systems and ensure accurate timing and transitions.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of external audio/video equipment.
• Operate Teams and other video conferencing platforms for live/hybrid events.
• Collaborate with staff and instructors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage event timings and run-of-show cues.
