Job summary

ASM Global is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee venue operations, coordinate event activities, and liaise between clients and facility departments. The role focuses on safety, staff supervision, and ensuring seamless event execution.

You will supervise staff, arrange training, monitor equipment, and enforce OSHA and internal safety procedures while working long hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff.
• Knowledge of operational procedures and safety.
• Ability to work with clients and facility teams.
• Capacity to train employees and manage performance.
• Familiarity with event setup, conversions, and equipment.
• Ability to operate a PC using standard office software (Windows, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between clients and facility departments for Exhibitor Services.
• Attend meetings and assist with all aspects of operations including event coordination and staffing.
• Supervise operations staff: interview, train, assign, evaluate performance and discipline as needed.
• Train staff on safety, risk management, and emergency procedures.
• Investigate and resolve operational problems and customer complaints.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; report irregularities or damages.
