Job summary

Sodexo seeks a Concessions Supervisor to lead on-site concessions operations at the Birmingham venue, ensuring fast, friendly service and adherence to standards. You’ll manage staff coverage, briefings, and training across multiple concession formats during events.

Applicants should have 2–4 years in concessions or food service, supervisory experience, and relevant alcohol and food safety certifications. This role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of concessions or food service experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience required.
• Must meet age requirements to supervise alcohol sales per local/state regulations.
• Valid TIPS/TEAM or equivalent alcohol-service certification.
• Food handler certification may be required per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable.
• Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and operational needs.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations, menus, service standards, and assignments.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Maintain speed of service, safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company policies across all assigned concession locations.
